This is a live demonstration in studio of how to paint a still life study in oil. As mentioned in the previous video, small oil painting study (measures 5 x 7 inches or 7 x 5 inches) is an effective way to train color observation, holistic observation and composition. This is a full demonstration of how to do it. In general, the time spent on the painting should be between 30-60 minutes. Do over do it!
