EATING SAGO WORMS | Exploring the Melanau Heartland

I went on a roadtrip through Central Sarawak, near Sibu. I visited many villages along the way and had some delicious food, including the Sago Worms (Ulat Sagu), Pipus, Pulut Panggang and much more. The area I explored is home to the Melanau people, one of the unique ethnic groups in Sarawak, Malaysia.

I love exploring Malaysia and I love living in the Borneo state of Sarawak.

Some of the villages I visited along the way were: Pulau Bruit, Daro, Kampung Hilir, Oya, Matu and Dalat.
