21st century skills students must know

It was couple of years back when I first thought of writing blogs. But thanks to my laziness or ignorance, I have always failed to materialize my plans. I don’t know why this time I can’t restrain myself from writing, probably because it is New Year. But I could have easily avoided it again. Just like every other year, we can take some resolutions but we may not follow them.

I should not make a wrong claim that I was too busy with my studies in our Dept of Mass Communication, Banaras Hindu University (BHU). However, this time something is more new about this New Year as it is the inaugural year for the new decade. Yes, the much awaited year 2010 has knocked the door of the globe. That’s why this time I feel immensely motivated and inspired about my new craze – blogging.

21st century skills and dreams

Nobody, who has seen the opening year of 21st century – year 2000, can forget the charisma of the moment. We may have taken many resolutions that time too. After all, we had been dreaming for the inception of the 21st century for a long-long time. These dreams anyone could have clearly seen in Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru’s visions and Raj Kapoor’s films. Nehru, The Dreamer of Trades, and Kapoor, The Trader of Dreams, both made us for the 21st century dreams over the years.

Ten years have gone strangely fast but still with their normal pace. Though many disasters occurred, India and the rest of the world have registered a lot of remarkable entries into the eco-socio-cultural-political record-books. And I too registered more dreams, more passions, more ambitions and more inspirations and more motivations. Aslo, I found more courage, more confidence, more thoughts, more paths, and also more destinations into my eyes.

When the moment came

Both hands of clock clubbed together on very night of this new year eve. Whole world was lost in celebration of the moment, and I was content with the above feelings. The first ten days of this New Year remained a little tedious for me. However, I don’t have much to say about them. Everybody appears enthusiastic and excited about this decade as I am. May the New Year and Decade bring love, prosperity, name, fame, happiness and bliss to all of us, including every individual, society, nation and the whole world.

Happy New Year and Decade…
